Will Navarro signs with Seoul Samsung in Korea — report

Gilas Pilipinas player Will Navarro will bring his game to South Korea.

Korean website Jumpball on Thursday reported that Navarro has signed with the Seoul Samsung Thunders in the Korean Basketball League.

The report said Navarro will join the team after the 2022 FIBA Asia Cup, which will be played this month.

Navarro recently played in the 2023 FIBA World Cup Asian Qualifiers, where he listed 4.8 points and 2.3 rebounds in the first round of the tournament.

The website on Wednesday also reported that Filipino guard Ethan Alvano will join Wonju DB. Alvano played for Alab Pilipinas in the 2018-19 season of the ASEAN Basketball League.

The two will follow Filipino players SJ Belangel, RJ Abarrientos, and Justin Gutang in the KBL.
