Kiefer, Dwight, Abando included in Gilas friendlies vs Korea

Filipino imports Kiefer Ravena and Dwight Ramos, and NCAA rookie MVP Rhenz Abando are among the players named by the Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas in its lineup for the Gilas Pilipinas men's basketball friendlies against South Korea.

The list released on Sunday also included KBL-bound SJ Belangel, UAAP champion Carl Tamayo, collegiate standouts RJ Abarrientos, Geo Chiu, Dave Ildefonso, and Kevin Quiambao. Lebron Lopez, Will Navarro, and naturalized player Ange Kouame are also named on the list.

The friendly games will be held on June 17 and 18 and will be hosted by the Korean Basketball Association. The games are part of the national team's preparation for the third window of the 2023 FIBA World Cup Asian Qualifiers which will be played on June 30 to July 4.
