NBA Store opens new outlet in Metro Manila

Aside from the ongoing NBA Playoffs, local NBA fans have something to look forward to as a new physical NBA Store opens on Friday.

The NBA Store, located at the Mega Fashion Hall of SM Megamall, will offer merchandise for all the 30 teams of the league which include jerseys, shirts, footwear, accessories, and collectibles.

NBA Philippines' Pat Giron said the store is one of the league's ways of bringing the NBA experience closer to the fans.

"Our fans can actually experience what an NBA Store feels like, the full NBA retail experience, and get to actually touch the retail products themselves," Giron said. "The NBA thinks creating a space like this is one of the key projects that we can do for the fans for them to experience the NBA," he added during the event.

Aside from the merchandise, the store also has interactive elements such as a photo booth where fans can have a picture with an NBA player, a photo wall decorated with an NBA podium, and a screen where fans can watch the games.

Since the store also has merchandise for Filipino-American player Jalen Green of the Houston Rockets, will Kai Sotto merchandise be available in the stores if he gets drafted? "We'll be working with our brand partners to make sure that we have access to those products," Giron said.

The NBA Store is managed by Titanomachy International, Inc., the company behind lifestyle brand Titan.
