Kai Sotto named as NBL Fans MVP

In his rookie year in the Australian National Basketball League, Filipino sensation Kai Sotto already won the hearts of fans as he won the Fans' Most Valuable Player Award.

Sotto was given the award on Wednesday after being chosen by fans in a poll.

In the whole tournament, Sotto played in 23 games where he logged an average of 7.5 points. The Adelaide 36ers ended their season with 10 wins and 18 losses.

Jaylen Adams of the Sydney Kings won the MVP award.
