Meralco bags PBA 3x3 second conference's Leg 4 title
The Meralco Bolts 3x3 team bagged another title in the PBA 3x3 tournament after defeating Limitless Appmasters, 17-14, in Leg 4 of the competition's second conference held on Sunday at the Araneta Coliseum.
Dexter Maiquez listed six points in the final game while Tonino Gonzaga and Alfred Batino added five points each. Joseph Sedurifa had one point in the win.
Prior to the finals, Meralco took down San Miguel Beer, 21-15, in the semis and Platinum Karaoke, 19-16, in the quarters.
Limitless, who were denied a back-to-back title, beat TNT Tropang Giga, 20-19, in the semis and Pioneer Pro Tibay, 22-20, in the quarters.
TNT settled for third place with a 21-17 win over the SMB.
Completing the playoffs picture were Master Sardines and Barangay Ginebra.
Meralco last bagged a leg title in the second leg of the PBA 3x3 first conference.
