Kiefer Ravena's 19 not enough as Shiga falls to Kyoto in OT; Gomez de Liaño, Parks pick up wins

Kiefer Ravena's fiery offense went for naught as Shiga Lakestars fell to Kyoto Hannaryz in overtime, 102-96, on Saturday in the Japan B. League.

The second-generation baller dropped 19 points, nine assists, and three rebounds while four players chipped in 12 markers each, but those weren't enough as Shiga slid to 10-24 in the team standings.

David Simon led Kyoto's offensive outburst with his double-double of 32 points, 10 rebounds, and three assists as they improved to 9-29.

Meanwhile, Javi Gomez de Liaño and the Ibaraki Robots and Ray Parks' Nagoya Diamond Dolphins won their assignments.

The Robots extended their winning streak to three at the expense of Kobe Paras' Niigata Albirex BB with a masterful 74-54 victory.

Gomez de Liaño saw limited minutes for a scoreless outing while Paras had 11 points and two rebounds in the defeat.

Parks, meanwhile, registered a team-high 18 points to go along with four rebounds and three assists as the Dolphins escaped Matthew Aquino and his Shinshu Brave Warriors, 82-65.

Like his older brother, Thirdy Ravena and his San-en NeoPheonix were also in the losing end tonight as they stumbled against Yokohama B-Corsairs, 79-68. The younger Ravena finished with 10 points and two assists as his team sank to 7-31.

Ravena's Gilas Pilipinas teammate Dwight Ramos and his Toyama fell to Shimane Susanoo Magic, 79-75, with the Filipino import collecting 12 points, three rebounds, and two assists.
