Kiefer Ravena, Shiga absorb 37-point loss against Mikawa

Kiefer Ravena and the Shiga Lakestars suffered another blowout loss, this time against the SeaHorses Mikawa, 108-71, in the Japan B.League on Saturday.

Mikawa limited Shiga to just 28 points by the end of the first half, just two points more than half of their output.

The SeaHorses continued their domination until the final buzzer and handed the Lakestars their sixth straight loss since the team returned to action last February.

Ravena's team-high 16 points was not enough to propel Shiga, with Novar Gadson and Sean O'mara being the only two other players in double digits with 15 and 12 points each.

Jarrod Uthoff listed 25 points, while Anthony Lawrence II added 21 to lead the Mikawa victory.

The Shiga Lakestars, which went down to 10-23, will try to bounce back on Wednesday when they play Shimane Susanoo Magic.
