Greg Slaughter willing to don Gilas Pilipinas uniform: 'I am available'
While Greg Slaughter has yet to reach a new deal with the NorthPort Batang Pier in the PBA, the 7-foot veteran center bared his availability and interest to reinforce the Gilas Pilipinas national team in future competitions.
In an Instagram story on Thursday, the 33-year-old big man said he has been hard at work despite the lull, training with former National Basketball Association (NBA) scout Gary Boyson to continue improving his game.

Tagging the Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas (SBP), Slaughter said he would like to be invited to be part of the national team pool.
"I am available and [have] been working with 16 year NBA champion scout @boysongary. I would love to be included in the national team pools," he said in the caption.
Gilas Pilipinas has yet to name its final lineup for the Southeast Asian Games this May in Hanoi, Vietnam but head coach Chot Reyes had already informed the PBA of his plans to form a 15-man contingent.
It is also not yet certain how many pro players Reyes will invite as league commissioner Willie Marcial said the SEAG roster could be a 'hybrid' between PBA cagers and cadets.
