Ray Parks' Nagoya, Matthew Aquino's Shinshu grab wins in B.League
Ray Parks' Nagoya Diamond Dolphins and Matthew Aquino's Shinshu Brave Warriors grabbed victories in the Japan B.League on Wednesday.
Nagoya crushed Osaka Evessa, 108-84, after seven players scored in double digits led by Coty Clarke's 23 points.
Parks scored 12 markers on 50% shooting while chipping in two rebounds and two steals for the Diamond Dolphins.
Shinshu likewise had a lopsided win against Kyoto Hannaryz, 98-69. Josh Hawkinson finished with 26 points, while Tatsuya Nishiyama and Lewis Kurihara had 17 markers each.
Aquino also scored three points and grabbed two rebounds in five minutes of action for the Brave Warriors.
Meanwhile, Kiefer and Thirdy Ravena's respective teams absorbed losses on the league's final play date of 2021.
Kiefer's Shiga Lakestars bowed to Hiroshima Dragonflies, 92-67, while Thirdy's San-En Neophoenix suffered a 101-69 beating against Ryukyu Golden Kings.
Dwight Ramos' Toyama Grouses, Javi Gomez de Liano's Ibaraki Robots, and Kobe Paras' Niigata Albirex also failed to win their games.
