Fil-Am Gabi Bade shines in Cyprus basketball league, drops 28 and 16 to lead ENAD to first win

Another Filpina cager is making waves abroad.

Gabi Bade, the daughter of former PBA player Cris Bade, delivered a double-double performance over the weekend to steer ENAD to its first victory in the 2021 Cyprus Women's Basketball Division A.

Bade poured in 28 points and 16 rebounds to go along with two assists and a steal as her squad walked away with a 45-38 win over Keravnos, bouncing back from a 73-52 opening day loss to AEL last week where Bade was also hitting on all cylinders.

During that defeat, Bade carved out 16 markers and six boards while dishing out seven dimes in 38 minutes of action.

The 5-foot-8 Bade is the second Filipina baller strutting her stuff abroad as Gilas Pilipinas Women mainstay Jack Animam has also been impressive in Serbia, dropping double-doubles as well in three consecutive games.

Bade and ENAD will look to grab their second win when they face winless Zinonas on Sunday, October 24.
