Latvia men nip ROC to win first ever 3x3 gold medal at Olympics

The Latvia men's team claimed the first ever Olympic gold medal in 3x3 basketball after beating the Russian Olympic Committee, 21-18, on Wednesday.

Serbia took the bronze medal to complete the podium as the sport made its Olympic debut in Aomi Urban Sports Park in Tokyo.

Earlier in the women's competition, Team USA bagged the gold also against the ROC women's team, 18-15. China copped the bronze.
