PBA allows Kiefer Ravena to play in Japan B.League for one season

The NLEX Road Warriors said it has reached an agreement with the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) to allow Kiefer Ravena to play for one season in the Japan Professional Basketball League (B.League).

The announcement was made by NLEX official Ronald Dulatre in a press conference on Saturday.

As part of the agreement, Ravena should play with NLEX until the end of the ongoing Philippine Cup, and he should return to the league after one season of his Japan stint.

The Japan B.League team Shiga Lakestars announced in June that Ravena will be part of the roster as an Asian import.

He will join his brother Thirdy, who plays with the San-En NeoPhoenix, in the Japanese league. Other Filipinos who signed with teams in the Japan B.League include brothers Juan and Javi Gomez de Liaño and San Beda product Kemark Cariño.
