Jordi Gomez de Liaño is heading to España.
The Varsitarian, the official publication of the University of Santo Tomas, said on Thursday that the University of the Philippines Integrated School standout has committed to suit up for the Growling Tigers.
The 6-foot-5 forward Jordi, the fourth of the Gomez de Liaño basketball siblings, averaged 13 points, 4.1 rebounds, and 1.8 assists for UPIS back in Season 82.
Prior to pandemic, he was also selected by coach Sandy Arespacochaga for the Gilas Pilipina Youth squad that was initially scheduled to compete in the 2019 FIBA Under-16 Asian Championship.

The Growling Tigers have also lost its head coach Aldin Ayo, who submitted his resignation following the "Sorsogon bubble" controversy.
