Kai Sotto excited to work with Kobe Paras as part of East West Private

Kai Sotto is looking forward to doing work alongside Kobe Paras in East West Private (EWP).

EWP announced on Tuesday the signing of Paras, the newest athlete in their roster of US-based Filipino players that includes Sotto, Cholo Añonuevo, and Sage Tolentino.

"I'm very happy to have Kobe in East West Private," Sotto said on Wednesday in a virtual press conference organized by Smart.

"I know Kobe and we have similar dreams and goals in life. I'm excited to work alongside him and help each other succeed in our own paths," the 18-year old big man added in a mix of Filipino and English.

Sotto also vouched for EWP's help to Filipino basketball players in reaching their goals.

"They'll ask nothing from you. They will really help you achieve your dreams," he added.

Sotto is set to embark on a new chapter of his basketball career as he signed with the Adelaide 36ers in Australia's National Basketball League. —JMB, GMA News
