Robert Jaworski recovering, 'making good progress' after bout with pneumonia

The PBA’s Living Legend and former senator Robert Jaworski, Sr., is in the process of recovering after he was hospitalized due to a bout with pneumonia last year.

The Jaworski family shared an update about the basketball great’s health in a statement posted on Facebook on Friday.

“Despite this, he is making good progress and is slowly moving forward,” they said in the post.

The statement also shared that due to a previously discovered blood abnormality, Jaworski had difficulty in regaining “strength, weight, and normal well-being.” They also said he tested negative for COVID-19.

The legendary Ginebra player-coach turned 75 earlier this month.
