MVP posts picture of Bobby Ray Parks, Jr. in La Union after sit out announcement
It seems like TNT Tropang Giga team owner and businessman Manny Pangilinan is not buying Bobby Ray Parks, Jr.'s reason to sit out the upcoming season of the Philippine Basketball Association.
Hours after Parks made the Saturday announcement that he will be excusing himself from his PBA duties due to "family" reasons, TNT on its social media platforms shared a post from Pangilinan's Facebook account.
The post showed a photo of Parks with the caption "This photo taken Thursday last week, around 9 pm. February 25, in San Juan, La Union. I don’t see any mother being cared for, and as far as I know, La Union is nowhere near California. Judge for yourself."

Parks on Saturday said that his decision "was not an easy decision to make, especially since I’ve been in constant talks with TNT management, but right now, this is what’s best for me and my family."
Park's announcement of his temporary exit came after the team made some tweaks in its composition.
Last February, Chot Reyes returned to the team as its head coach. Kelly Williams, who retired back in September 2020, announced last week he will make another tour of duty for the MVP-owned franchise.
Parks has become an integral part of the Tropang Giga lineup, posting averages of 20.10 points and 8.20 rebounds per game at the end of the elimination round of the PBA's 45th season. — LA, GMA News
