Stephen Curry, Devin Booker headline NBA All-Star 3-point contest

Golden State Warriors' Stephen Curry and Phoenix Suns' Devin Booker headline this season's NBA All-Star 3-point contest.

The former champions lead a field which also includes Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum of the Boston Celtics, Zach LaVine of the Chicago Bulls, and Donovan Mitchell of the Utah Jazz.

According to the NBA, this is the first time that all competitors in the 3-point contest are current All-Stars.

Curry, who won the contest in 2015, is participating at the event for the seventh time while 2018 champion Booker will appear for the fifth time. Brown and Tatum are both first timers.

Meanwhile, LaVine and Mitchell previously won the Slam Dunk contest. LaVine bagged back to back titles in 2015 and 2016 while Mitchell notched the crown in 2018.

The NBA said no player has won both the Slam Dunk and the 3-point contest in a career.

The 3-point contest will be held on March 7 before the All-Star Game.
