Kai Sotto arrives in Manila to join Gilas for 2021 FIBA Asia Cup Qualifiers

Kai Sotto is now in Manila to join Gilas Pilipinas as the national team prepares for the 2021 FIBA Asia Cup Qualifiers.

Sotto arrived in the country Tuesday night.

"Facts: Day 33 of 365," Sotto wrote, with a Philippine flag emoji, in the caption of his photo in the Ninoy Aquino International Airport.

Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas president Al Panlilio earlier said Sotto will come home with his father Ervin.

Panlilio added that Sotto will undergo a quarantine period before joining the men's national basketball team's training in Calamba, Laguna.

Gilas will fly out to Doha, Qatar after February 14 for the final window of the FIBA continental qualifiers to be held on February 18-22. -- BAP, GMA News
