CJ Perez deal between Terrafirma, San Miguel Beer still up for approval, says Marcial
Terrafirma Dyip is making a move ahead of PBA rookie draft.
In a phone interview, Friday, PBA Commissioner Willie Marcial said that the league office received the trade papers for the team's star CJ Perez.
"Dinala kaninang hapon mga 4:30 dumating," Marcial told GMA News Online.
Marcial also confirmed reports that part of the trade deal includes Perez being sent to San Miguel Beer in exchange of Matt Ganuelas-Rosser, Gelo Alolino, Russel Escoto, and the 8th pick in the upcoming draft.
However, the proposal is still subject to the Trade Committee's approval.
"Mag-uusap pa 'yung Trade Committee within the weekend," Marcial said.
Perez was nominated for Best Player of the Conference in the recently concluded 45th season of the league, where he posted an average of 24.36 points and 6.82 rebounds at the end of the elimination round.
