NBA G League team Ignite with Kai Sotto, Jalen Green set for February debut
Kai Sotto, Jalen Green, and the rest of the select team Ignite will finally be seeing action on the court as the NBA G League will hold its season in a bubble starting February.
Ignite, along with 17 other teams, will play in the ESPN Wide World of Sports in Walt Disney World Resort, the same venue of the recently concluded season of the NBA.
Ignite head coach Brian Shaw said the team is excited for their debut. “This is a unique opportunity for our players to showcase their development while gaining a high volume of experience quickly against the caliber of talent they’ll face every day in the NBA,” Shaw said in a statement.
The top eight teams of the tournament will advance to a single-elimination playoff.
