Andre Paras applies for PBA draft
Andre Paras has applied for the PBA draft!
According to the PBA website, the Kapuso actor is one of the early candidates for rookie selection scheduled on March 14, 2021.
Andre, the son of PBA great Benjie and older brother of University of the Philippines' Kobe, played for the AMA Online Education in the PBA D-League in 2017.
He played for La Salle Green Hills in high school and played one season for the UP Fighting Maroons in college.
In recent years, the 25-year-old big man has been focusing more on his acting career.
Other draft hopefuls include Jason Brickman, Jeremiah Gray, and Brandon Ganuelas-Rosser. All three played for the San Miguel Alab Pilipinas in the ASEAN Basketball League.
Two others also submitted their application: Matthew Kyle Sanchez of San Beda and Shem Kenneth Magallanes from Caybiga High School.
