Thirdy Ravena says he is 'all good' after testing positive for COVID-19

Thirdy Ravena said he is 'all good' after his team in the Japan Professional Basketball League (B.League) announced on Friday he tested positive for the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19).

"All good over here. Appreciate all the love and concern over the past 24 hours. I feel well already but have to follow quarantine protocols indefinitely," Ravena said in a tweet on Saturday morning.

San-En NeoPhoenix on Friday said Ravena is still receiving medical attention after his fever went down.

The Asian import of the San-En NeoPhoenix also made a reminder about the virus.

"Just a reminder that the virus is still out there so let’s not take it for granted. Stay safe everyone!" he said.

Ravena won his first game with the NeoPhoenix, but his team went on a four-game losing skid afterwards. In five games, the former Ateneo star posted 12 points and 4.8 rebounds.

The B.League said Ravena is a "remarkable player in Asia" after the online stream of his first game hit more than 900,000 views. —JCB, GMA News
