Barangay Ginebra cruises past NorthPort, 112-100

Barangay Ginebra leaned on a balanced attack to cruise past NorthPort, 112-100, in the elimination round of the PBA Philippine Cup on Wednesday.

The Gin Kings shared the ball freely, dishing out 37 assists as eight players scored in double digits.

Christian Standhardinger and Kevin Ferrer finished with 23 points apiece for the Batang Pier, but the team could not hit its stride after a promising first quarter.

Ginebra will play again on Friday against TNT, which holds an identical 6-2 card, to determine the new leader of the league.

Meanwhile, NorthPort will look to improve its 1-6 standing against 5-4 Alaska on the same day.
