Zamboanga bags 2020 Chooks-to-Go Pilipinas 3x3 President’s Cup title

Zamboanga City emerged victorious in the 2020 Chooks-to-Go Pilipinas 3x3 President’s Cup held in Calamba, Laguna.

Joshua Munzon and Alvin Pasaol led Zamboanga with seven points apiece against the Nueva Ecija Rice Vanguards, 22-19. A Munzon longball over Jai Reyes sealed the deal for Zamboanga.

“Those are the shots I’ve been taking the tournament,” Munzon said. “It felt good coming out of my hands. I was confident about that shot.”

Apart from the title, Zamboanga won more than P1-million from the tournament.

Chooks-to-Go Pilipinas 3x3 became a professional league in July.
