Several senators on Monday showed support to their hardcourt idols Los Angeles Lakers who were hailed as champions in the 2020 NBA finals.

Senate President Vicente Sotto III sent a groufie with fellow lawmakers Senator Ronald "Bato" dela Rosa and Senator Panfilo Lacson while wearing Lakers face masks.

Senator Sherwin Gatchalian was also seen wearing one when Sotto took a selfie.

Sotto said he watched the basketball game first before their caucus for the corporate income tax reform bill started.

The Lakers beat the Miami Heat in Game Six and won the NBA title on Monday morning (Manila time), 106-93. — Dona Magsino/RSJ, GMA News
