James Yap 'buys' detergent from Belga and Araña's 'sari-sari store'
PBA players certainly know how to have fun inside the PBA bubble.
Take for example James Yap, who played along with his teammates Beau Belga and Ryan Araña's "sari-sari store" antics.
In an Instagram video on Friday, he was shown visiting their room and pretending to buy their products.
"Checkout who's our 1st customer for #BelgaAraña sari-sari store," Araña said. "Business is good @bigbeaubelga."
Yap knocked first and Belga excitedly opened the door to welcome a potential suki.
"Puwedeng pabili ng sabon?" said the Rain or Shine star.
Belga smoothly slipped into a businessman role and proceeded to work on his sales talk. In a very on-brand move, he immediately offered Yap some rice.
But "Big Game James" has his eye on laundry products, checking out some fabric conditioner and picking up six packs of powdered detergent.
When he asked for the cost, Belga charged him P350—clearly overpriced as commented by some of the players.
Yap handed the big man a P1000 bill and told him to "keep the change," to Belga's utter glee.
"Sana ganito lahat ng bumibili!" he said.
Yap quickly backpedaled and took back his cash.
Fellow players and fans appreciated the humor, as the Rain or Shine trio got lots of laughing emojis in the comments section. —MGP, GMA News
