Kai Sotto to skip college, sign with NBA G League—report
Kai Sotto is skipping college and signing with the NBA G League.
According to a report by Shams Charania of The Athletic, the 7-foot-2 center is the "first international draft prospect to sign a deal in the NBA G League pro program."

Sotto, 18, joins Fil-Am prospect Jalen Green in the G League Pathway Program, which allows high school players to experience the professional game and earn a salary instead of going to college.

The Batang Gilas stalwart has previously attracted the attention of several NCAA Division I schools, such as DePaul, Auburn, and Georgia Tech.

He has been playing for The Skill Factory, a prep team based in Atlanta, Georgia. He also attended the Basketball Without Borders Global Camp in February.
