Larry Bird on facing MJ: 'That was God disguised as Michael Jordan'
Michael Jordan cemented his legacy in the 90's when he won six NBA championships with the Chicago Bulls.
Before the dynasty, however, His Airness was already torching teams in the playoffs.
In "The Last Dance" documentary, Larry Bird recounted Jordan's monster 63-point performance against his Boston Celtics in 1986.
"Our whole thing was just do what we can do to hold Michael down, but you don't hold the great ones down," he said. "That wasn't Michael Jordan out there, that was God disguised as Michael Jordan."

Jordan was only in his second year in the NBA back then and played only 18 games in the regular season after breaking a bone in his foot.
But in Game 2 of the Bulls' first round series against the Celtics, he put on a show after shooting 22-of-41 from the field and hitting 19 of his 21 free throws.
Chicago would lose the game and the series to the eventual champions, but Jordan put the league on notice.
"Every time I step on that basketball court, my focus is to win the game," he said. "It drives me insane when I can't."
