6-time MVP June Mar Fajardo leads PBA Season 44 Leo Awardees

The Philippine Basketball Association recognized players who stood out during the league's 43rd season at the Leos PBA Annual Awards on Sunday, at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.

June Mar Fajardo made history for being the only six-time Most Valuable Player awardee in the league.

Together with Fajardo, Jayson Castro, CJ Perez, Christian Standhardinger, and Sean Anthony were recognized as members of the season's mythical team.

Columbian Dyip's CJ Perez bagged the Rookie of the Year award, besting Javee Mocon, Robert Bolick, Ray Parks, and Abu Tratter.

Rain or Shine's Gabe Norwood received the Sportsmanship Award while San Miguel Beermen's Mo Tautaa was distinguished as the Most Improved Player.
