Standhardinger named Best Player of the Conference, Durham is Best Import

NorthPort Batang Pier's Christian Standhardinger was hailed as the Best Player of the Conference on Wednesday minutes before Game 4 of the PBA Governors' Cup finals at the Araneta Coliseum.

The Filipino-German big man averaged 23 points, 12 rebounds, and 3.8 assists while shooting 52 percent from the field, proving himself after getting traded by San Miguel Beer.

Meanwhile, Meralco's Allen Durham won the Best Import award for the third time after once again steering the Bolts to the finals.

Durham averaged 29.6 points, 14.6 rebounds, 6.27 assists while playing 40 minutes per game.

Meralco faces Barangay Ginebra in the finals, with the Bolts down 1-2 in the series entering the crucial Game 4. —MGP, GMA News
