Gilas Pilipinas completes golden sweep of 3x3 men's basketball
The Philippines completed a sweep of the Southeast Asian Games 3x3 basketball competition, scoring a double gold for the country.
The Gilas Pilipinas men's team of CJ Perez, Chris Newsome, Jason Perkins, and Mo Tautuaa finished their onslaught with a 21-9 win over Indonesia on Monday at the FilOil Flying V Arena in San Juan City.

Gilas led as much as twelve, 18-6, after a Perez shot before the Thais broke their scoring drought at the 3:38 mark. Mo Tautuaa connected for a long two to seal the gold.
Perez scored 10 points in the gold medal match.
The national stars swept their way to the Finals, defeating Malaysia (21-13) and Cambodia (21-6) on Monday. Gilas was also perfect in its Sunday matches, winning over Indonesia (21-17), Myanmar (21-10), Vietnam (21-15), and Thailand (21-10).
Vietnam bagged third in 3x3 basketball after defeating Thailand, 21-17.
