Poligrates scores record 67 points in PBA D-League game

Former PBA player Eloy Poligrates set a new PBA D-League record with 67 points in his team Marinerong Pilipino's 141-97 victory over iWalk on Monday.

Poligrates, a former pick of TNT in the 2013 PBA draft, was red hot from behind the arc, making 11 three-pointers. He shot 28-of-45 for the game.

In an interview with Spin.ph earlier this month, Poligrates said he signed with the D-League squad in the Foundation Cup with an eye toward a PBA comeback.

Poligrates previously had stints with TNT, Air 21, Kia, and NLEX in the big league. —JST, GMA News
