Chot Reyes names Gilas lineup for FIBA World Cup Asian Qualifiers

Gilas Pilipinas head coach Chot Reyes on Sunday night named the players who would represent the Philippines in the second window of the FIBA World Cup Qualifiers this February 22 in Melbourne, Australia.

Among the players was naturalized Filipino Andray Blatche, who would lead the Philippine delegation.

Also included in the team were Gilas veterans Gabe Norwood, Jayson Castro, and big man June Mar Fajardo.

For former DLSU Green Archer Abu Tratter, this will be his first stint as Gilas player.

According to Reyes, Troy Rosario was not given a medical clearance, while Mac Belo had yet to fully recover from injury.

Gilas will enter the second window of the Asian qualifiers with a 2-0 record.

They will be back in Manila on February 25 to face Japan at the Mall of Asia Arena. — DVM, GMA News
