La Salle’s MBala is back-to-back UAAP MVP
With a season average of 26 points, 13.1 rebounds, 2.5 blocks, and 1.3 assists, La Salle’s Ben MBala was again named the Most Valuable Player in the men’s basketball tournament of the UAAP.

This is the second straight year the Cameroon native took home the prize.
In addition to the highest honor, MBala was also named PS Bankable Player of the Season and Shell V-Power Most Efficient Player of the Season.
Joining him in the mythical team are DLSU’s Ricci Rivero, Ateneo’s Thirdy Ravena, National University’s J-Jay Alejandro, and University of the East’s Alvin Pasaol.

Meanwhile, UP's Juan Gomez de Liano was named Rookie of the Year.
