DLSU Green Archers continue win streak, annihilate Tigers by 43

The DLSU Green Archers remained unbeaten after annihilating the UST Growling Tigers, 99-56, on Sunday.

Ben Mbala led La Salle with 21 points, 15 rebounds and five blocks, while Jeron Teng added 16 points. Rookie Justine Baltazar also had an impressive outing, hitting 10 points with 12 boards.

Up just four after the first period, 19-15, the Archers overwhelmed the Tigers, 26-8, in the second to enjoy a 45-23 lead at the half.

It was all about lead management from then on for the Archers, who had all players fielded score.

With the win, La Salle officially secured a Final Four berth and a twice to beat advantage. —ALG, GMA News
