Kobe Bryant ended his 20-year NBA career with a bang as he scored 60 points against Utah Jazz in Los Angeles Lakers' last game of the regular season on Thursday (Philippine time).
It was an emotional farewell for basketball fans all over the world, and even Filipino cagers could not help but salute the most dominant NBA player of his generation.
PBA stars James Yap, Mark Caguioa, Asi Taulava, and Dondon Hontiveros posted tributes on their Instagram accounts during Mamba Day, and even Ateneo phenom Kiefer Ravena joined in on the throwback photos.
Other players watched the Jazz-Lakers game on television and tweeted their respect for Bryant, a five-time champion and former Most Valuable Player in the NBA.
