PBA: Devance, Cruz get it done as Ginebra guns down Mahindra

Barangay Ginebra San Miguel got significant contributions from their new acquisitions Sunday, as Joe Devance and Jervy Cruz scored 14 and 10 points, respectively, to defeat the Mahindra Enforcers, 80-76, at the Cuneta Astrodome.

"It wasn't pretty [but] right now, we're not into pogi points," said Ginebra head coach Tim Cone after the game. "We got a big lift from Joe and Jervy and Scottie. We got a good spark from the bench. We're just trying to grind out wins".

Greg Slaughter and Japeth Aguilar had 16 and 12 points, respectively, while combining or 13 rebounds. Mark Caguioa and Chris Ellis tallied 13 together, while LA Tenorio had two points on a one of seven shooting clip.

Karl Dehesa led Mahindra with 17 markers while Mark Yee had another double double with 10 points and 11 boards. Aldrech Ramos had 13 points and 11 rebounds, while Kyle Pascual added 12 markers. - GMA News
