PBA: Ginebra destroys Kia by 32 points

Barangay Ginebra San Miguel showed its might with an 87-55 demolition of expansion team Kia Sorento on Saturday in Lucena City.

Greg Slaughter finished with 16 points and 11 rebounds for Ginebra. He punished smaller defenders who had no choice but to foul him, going 12-of-14 from the free throw line.

Ginebra improved to 2-0 in the 2015 Philippine Cup after following up its opening day win over Talk 'N Text.

It was a rude awakening for Kia, which won its opening assignment last Sunday against Blackwater in a game that featured playing coach Manny Pacquiao.

The boxing icon was absent for Kia as he prepares for his November 23 fight against Chris Algieri, but it's hard to imagine how much of a difference he would have made for the overmatched Sorento.
