NBA: Magic agree to deal with shooter Ben Gordon - report

The Orlando Magic have agreed to terms with free agent guard Ben Gordon, Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo Sports reported.

The two sides came to terms on a two-year deal worth $9 million.

It’s expected Gordon will bring a veteran voice to a young backcourt that looks to star sophomore Victor Oladipo and rookie Elfrid Payton Jr.

Gordon is a career 40.2 percent shooter from three-point land, but his numbers have steadily declined since leaving the Chicago Bulls in 2009.

He played just 19 games with the then-Charlotte Bobcats last season, averaging 5.2 points and 1.4 rebounds. He was waived by the club in March, after the team acquired Luke Ridnour and Gary Neal from the Milwaukee Bucks. - AMD, GMA News
