The 6'4" Peek was the third overall pick by Pop Cola back in 1998, having played for five different teams, including the Alaska Aces, Cocoa-Cola Tigers, and Sta. Lucia Realtors.
The 39-year-old has career averages of 11.57 points, 7.95 rebounds, 1.04 assists and 1.21 blocks. He only appeared in nine games this past Philippine Cup for Talk 'N Text though, norming 4.00 markers and 4.56 boards.
In November 2011, Peek was shot after a training session with TnT, but survived the assault and came back to play, after being rushed to Medical City. Two suspects were later arrested, with the duo claiming to have shot Peek mistakenly.
Peek is a three-time PBA All-Star, a Best Player of the Conference awardee back in 2003's Invitational Conference, and a Sportsmanship Awardee during the 2007-08 season. - Roehl Niño Bautista / AMD, GMA News
