The six-player swap is headlined by Redick going to Milwaukee, along with Gustavo Ayon and Ish Smith. In exchange, Orlando acquires Beno Udrih, Tobias Harris and Doron Lamb. Redick is currently playing the best basketball of his career, averaging highs in points (15.1), rebounds (2.4) and assists (4.4). His field goal percentage of 45 percent is also a career-best mark. Ayon, a 6'10" forward, norms 3.6 points and 3.3 rebounds, while Smith, a 6'0" point guard, puts up 2.4 points and 1.6 assists. Perhaps the biggest name among the players going to Orlando is Beno Udrih, who is currently averaging 6.7 points, 2.0 rebounds and 3.5 assists as the back-up to Brandon Jennings. Sophomore Tobias Harris has numbers of 4.9 points and 2.0 rebounds, while rookie Doron Lamb has averages of 3.4 points per game. For Milwaukee, the trade serves to help them solidify their place in the Eastern Conference playoffs picture. They're currently in eighth place, three and a half games ahead of the Philadelphia 76ers and one and a half games back of the seventh-seeded Boston Celtics. Orlando on the other hand, needed Udrih as an back-up, after Jameer Nelson reportedly suffered a strained patellar tendon in his knee.Orlando sends Ayon and Ish Smith to Milwaukee as part of deal for Redick, source tells Y! — Adrian Wojnarowski (@WojYahooNBA) February 21, 2013
The Magic also sent big man Josh McRoberts to the Charlotte Bobcats, in exchange for forward Hakim Warrick. Warrick has gotten some playing time with the Bobcats after getting traded there in November from New Orleans. He currently averages 7.0 points and 3.3 rebounds for the season, though the Magic will reportedly waive him. McRoberts on the other hand puts up 3.9 points and 3.3 rebounds, while shooting 30.9 percent from beyond the arc, giving the Bobcats some ability to space the floor from the power forward position.BREAKING: Bobcats dealing Hakim Warrick for Josh McRoberts. — Rick Bonnell (@rick_bonnell) February 21, 2013
Meanwhile, the Hawks, after opting not to trade Josh Smith, instead dealt shooter Anthony Morrow to the Dallas Mavericks for Dahntay Jones. Morrow, a career 42.5 percent three-point shooter, has been unhappy with his playing time, with the Hawks, where he gets just 12.3 minutes per game. Dahntay Jones, a 10-year NBA veteran, hit 42.9 percent of his triples last season, but is down to 21.6 percent in 2012-13. He is a better defender though, and the Hawks are likely hoping the change of place will reinvigorate him. - AMD, GMA News Here's how the trades look on the ESPN NBA Trade Machine:RT @espnnba: RT @windhorstespn: Hawks have traded Anthony Morrow to Dallas for Dahntay Jones, sources tell ESPN (IN LIEU OF JOSH SMITH DEAL) — Marc Stein (@ESPNSteinLine) February 21, 2013
