NBA: LeBron James, Jeremy Lin take home ESPY awards
LeBron James took home not one, not two, but three ESPY awards, in addition to one for his team, the Miami Heat, in the annual event honoring athletes by sports network ESPN, held this year in Los Angeles, Wednesday (Thursday, PHL time). James, who won his first NBA championship in June, was named Male Athlete of the Year, and also took home Championship Performance of the Year and NBA Player of the Year. The Miami Heat also won Team of the Year, after beating the Oklahoma City Thunder 4-1 in the NBA Finals.
