Talk 'N Text earned the top ranking in the PBA Commissioner's Cup and in the process sent Petron to an early summer vacation after cruising to a 107-80 win Wednesday night at the Smart-Araneta Coliseum.

Jayson Castro tallied 19 points, five rebounds, five assists and one steal as the defending champion Tropang Texters finished the elimination round with a league-best 7-2 card while the Blaze Boosters joined Air21 and Rain or Shine on the sidelines with 3-6 slates. Talk 'N Text, holding on to a 26-24 lead early in the second period, went on a 19-8 rampage to post a 45-32 advantage with three minutes left before the halftime break. Castro scored eight of the Texters' 19 points in that scoring exchange. The Manny V. Pangilinan-owned telecommunications franchise did not slow down after that and coasted to victory in the second half. Four other Talk 'N Text players finished in double digits with Jared Dillinger contributing 16 points, six rebounds, seven assists and two steals while import Donnell Harvey tallied 15 markers and 12 boards. Jimmy Alapag and Kelly Williams chipped in 11 and 10 points also for the Texters. William McDonald led Petron's losing cause with 20 points and 16 rebounds, Arwind Santos had 16 markers and 13 rebounds while Josepy Yeo and Dennis Miranda added 11 markers each.
