BTS, Seventeen, G-Dragon, Jennie, and more K-Pop stars donate to wildfire victims

Several of the top names in music have donated to those affected by the South Korea wildfires.
Among them are BTS’ RM, Suga, and J-Hope, who each donated 100 million Korean won, or approximately P3.9 million, according to The Korea Times and Soompi.
Member Jungkook donated 1 billion won, or approximately P39 million. His donation was revealed by the Korea Disaster Relief Association.
"I hope this can provide even the smallest help to those who are exhausted and enduring difficult times," Jungkook said, as published by The Korea Times.
Seventeen likewise donated 1 billion won. They said in a statement, "We offer our deepest condolences to the victims and extend our comfort to those enduring these difficult times."
G-Dragon, member of Bigbang, donated 300 million won or approximately P11 million, according to his agency, Galaxy.
"I sincerely hope that helping hands stay with those who lost their homes in an unexpected disaster," he said in a statement.
According to Soompi, more stars who donated include Blackpink’s Jennie, Jay Park, Twice’s Nayeon and Dahyun, IU, Red Velvet’s Seulgi and Wendy, Super Junior’s Eunhyuk, SHINee’s Key, GOT7’s Jinyoung, Enhypen’s Jungwon, and many more singers and actors.
The donations are expected to be used to assist wildfire victims who have lost their homes and to support the firefighters.
As of March 26, the death toll was at 24. The wildfires were fueled by strong winds and dry weather. —Nika Roque/JCB, GMA Integrated News
