Zayn Malik just treated Directioners with a surprise performance of "Night Changes" for the first time in 10 years.

"Night Changes" as we all know by now, is one of the hits by his former band, One Direction.

According to a video shared by a fan on X, Zayn told the concert crowd at Palacio De Los Deportes in Mexico City that singing the One Direction song again after a decade made him almost cry.

"Thank you, that was f------ amazing," he said.

In 2022, Zayn also surprised fans on Instagram with a short cover of "Night Changes." The same year, he also posted an eight-second video of him singing the high note in "You & I."

Zayn was one of five members of the British boy band One Direction, famous for hits like "What Makes You Beautiful," "Perfect," and "Story of My Life."

Other members are Harry Styles, Niall Horan, Louis Tomlinson, and the late Liam Payne, who died in October 2024 falling from the third floor of a hotel in Buenos Aires.

After Zayn left the band in 2015, the remaining members released the album "Made in the A.M." before announcing an indefinite hiatus in 2016. — Hermes Joy Tunac/LA, GMA Integrated News
