Is Miss Universe Thailand now under Nawat Itsaragrisil?

Nawat, who is currently the president of Miss Grand International (MGI), posted photos of himself on Instagram with the logo of Miss Universe as his background. 

“Miss Universe x MGI Org,” Nawat wrote in the caption and provided no other details.

In the comment section however, beauty queens like Miss Grand International 2025 first runner-up CJ Opiaza as well as some pageant fans sent in their congratulations.

“Congratulations Papa,” CJ wrote.

As translated by Google, local media Khaosod Online reports Nawat has announced he has acquired the copyright of Miss Universe Thailand.

He is set to join Miss Universe owner Anne Jakrajutatip in a press conference on February 18, in Thailand, the report added.
