Mandy Moore visits home burned down by California wildfire: 'It's not livable'

Mandy Moore visited her family home in Altadena, California after it was ravaged by a wildfire.

The singer and actress said on Instagram that they were able to park on their street and walk to their home to see the extent of loss.

Sharing photos of the debris, Mandy said, “Miraculously, the main part of our house is still standing. For now. It’s not livable but mostly intact.”

Mandy said that their losses include the studio of her husband Taylor Goldsmith and his brother Griffin, every instrument and piece of studio equipment, their garage, and their back house.

“Everyone we know lost everything. Every house on our street is gone. My in-laws. My brother and sister-in-law—six weeks from welcoming their first baby. Our best friends,” she said.

"Feeling weird survivors guilt," she added.

She pledged that her family will help rebuild and support.

"Thanks for everyone for checking on us and offering us help. Altadena strong."

In her previous Instagram posts, Mandy expressed her devastation at all her family and community had lost in the wildfires.

Due to the strong winds and fires in California, several movie and TV stars had been forced to evacuate their homes, including Paris Hilton, Jamie Lee Curtis, Mark Hammill, Eugene Levy, and James Woods.

The fires have produced long delays in evacuations, power outages, and traffic jams.
