On Cynthia Erivo's birthday, Ariana Grande says 'Forever grateful the universe chose us'
Ariana Grande took to social media to greet the Elphaba to her Glinda on her special day.
On Instagram, the "Wicked" star shared a photo of herself with Cynthia Eviro on her story, both of them wearing their character's iconic hat and crown for the musical film.
"Happy birthday, my brilliant Cynthia," Ariana wrote. "I love you more than words can say."
"Forever grateful for this journey with you and that the universe chose us!" she added.
This January, a sing-along version of "Wicked" is airing in over 100 cinemas nationwide.
The "Wicked" film premiered in the Philippines last November. It bagged the Cinematic and Box Office Achievement at the 82nd Golden Globe Awards.
The second part of the film, "Wicked: For Good," is set to be released on November 21.
