Taylor Swift named Billboard Music Awards' All-Time Top Winner with 49 wins
Billboard Music Awards (BBMAs) named Taylor Swift their All-Time Top Winner as the pop star reached a total of 49 wins throughout her career.
Taylor now holds the highest record in BBMAs history, followed by Drake with 39 wins.
According to Billboard’s article, the “Cruel Summer” singer is the top winner at this year’s awards ceremony. She won 10 new trophies, including Top Artist, Top Female Artist, and Top Billboard 200 Artist.
This is also the second year in a row that she won 10 BBMAs.
Taylor just wrapped up her “Eras Tour” in Vancouver, Canada.
According to a report by People, Taylor has given out a whopping $197 million-worth of bonuses (around P11.4 billion) to all the people who worked with her on tour over the last two years.
“The Eras Tour” kicked off in Arizona, United States on March 17, 2023 and spanned 149 cities in the world including Singapore and Japan — the only two Asian stops.
In October, Taylor was named the world's richest female musician by Forbes, crediting the huge success of her “Eras Tour” to her skyrocketing net worth.
In April, she was officially declared a billionaire by Forbes. In the same month, she released her latest album, “The Tortured Poets Department.”
