Park Min Jae dies at 32
Park Min Jae was in China when he suffered a cardiac arrest and died. He was 32.
On the South Korean actor's Instagram page, a sibling confirmed the news saying "my beloved brother has gone to rest" as he posted a photo about the actor's funeral service on December 4.
Min Jae's agency, Big Title, also confirmed the unfortunate news on its social media channel with a message in Korean, roughly translated by Google as "Actor Minjae Park has gone to heaven."
"I can't see his acting anymore but I will proudly remember him as an actor of the Big Title," the message continued.
Korean media reports how Big Title's CEO, Hwang Ju Hye, recalled the actor's planned one month-trip to China on social media.
"The guy who said he would conquer China and go on a month-long trip has gone on a much longer journey," Ju Hye began. "It was so sudden and so shocking... The family must be feeling unimaginable sorrow."
Min Jae died on November 29 from a cardiac arrest while in China.
A wake is being held at the Ewha Womans University Seoul Hospital, with a funeral scheduled for 9:30 a.m. on December 4.
